DEVELOPMENT SNAPSHOT #11
Before an order reaches the battlefield, a nation's tomorrow is assembled in quiet rooms. Today we meet three figures at the heart of the Aizar Empire—and three different ways of looking at the same state.
At 75, Alphonse has served three emperors and spent more than half a century near the center of power. His character data presents a cautious strategist able to view military affairs, diplomacy, economics, and intelligence together. He thinks beyond the next war to the generation that follows it.

Alexis, 55, rose from legal scholar to diplomat and built his reputation through peace negotiations and reforms. Courteous and warm in public, he possesses the persuasive skill to redirect a meeting almost invisibly—earning a fearful nickname among his rivals: the man who takes heads with a smile.

Claudia is a 27-year-old strategist who graduated first in her class and entered the general staff at unusual speed. Her fields are planning, logistics, and intelligence analysis. For her, victory means leaving the Empire in a condition where it can still exist tomorrow.

Their ages, histories, quotations, and commander traits already exist in the character data. How their relationships and council decisions will affect play remains under development. They may all want to preserve one empire, yet their time horizons and tools are different. We want that tension to become part of the story of ruling a nation.
