DEVELOPMENT SNAPSHOT #12
No national plan survives every storm. A swarm darkens the sky, the earth splits, stores burn, harbors rage, and fields fail. Today we introduce five natural-disaster events in development through actual game assets.
The swarm is designed to pressure settlements and farmland, reducing agricultural production and threatening food reserves and transport. Do you protect the fields, release stockpiles, or reroute supply? One event can demand several decisions at once.

Damage spreads through facilities, infrastructure, production, and population. A future geography-based hazard layer is also under consideration.

Fire threatens not only buildings but inventory. What you store—and how widely you distribute it—matters before the flames appear.

Storms affect ports and transport. For a nation dependent on sea routes, weather can rewrite the economic calendar.

Failed harvests reduce agricultural output and pressure food prices and stability. The danger is not a single explosion, but a shortage that keeps growing.
Names, descriptions, artwork, occurrence rates, durations, and principal effects for all five events are present in the specifications and implementation, along with a debug route that can summon event screens. Deeper links among regional warning signs, evacuation, and recovery policy remain under improvement. Our goal is to make preparation visible: after the storm, two nations should tell different stories because one was ready.
