DEVELOPMENT SNAPSHOT #20
While studying the map, you may want to reshape factory output, begin a new facility, or return to the wider work of government. Today we look at three shortcuts designed to carry that thought directly into the next decision.
The factory shortcut leads to production planning. The moment a shortage becomes visible, players can move from the map to the queue and reconsider what should be made next.

The construction shortcut opens the same management screen in construction mode. It connects an idea on the map with facility selection and building order.

The domestic button leads to a menu gathering taxation, personnel, production, construction, research, and other affairs of state. It is where a local observation becomes a national decision.
The implementation loads the factory and construction images into the map shortcut panel, then opens production planning or construction management according to the click. The domestic management button is likewise a real UI asset used to move from the map into the management menu.
Even the grandest strategy is built one decision at a time. That is why reaching the next place you want to act—without losing the thought that brought you there—matters.
