DEVELOPMENT SNAPSHOT #23

White cotton from the fields and sturdy leather from the ranch travel along different roads. When they meet at the workshop, they become clothing that supports everyday life. Three actual resource cards tell this compact production story.

Resource ID 397: Cotton, a fiber crop grown with water.

Growing a white harvest — Cotton

Cotton is registered as resource ID 397 and can be produced on farmland. It requires 0.2 water and serves as one of clothing's fixed inputs. A quiet corner of a field is already connected to life in the city.

Strength from the ranch — Leather

Actual leather resource card

Leather is resource ID 327. It is a livestock material produced with water and feed, and is registered as a fixed input for clothing. A production base very different from farmland joins the same finished good.

A finished good for daily life — Clothing

Actual clothing resource card

Clothing is resource ID 34, a consumer good for daily life. Workshops produce it from fixed inputs of 0.34 wool, 0.33 leather, and 0.33 cotton to meet residents' living demand.

A nation's shape inside a single garment

Delivering one piece of clothing reliably requires water for farmland, feed for ranches, and workshop processing. These three cards are not merely icons; they are a meeting point where different industries depend on one another.

Where should the inputs be produced, where should they be processed, and how should they travel? Ashwind Chronicle turns an ordinary necessity into a decision at the scale of a state.

FROM FIELD TO EVERYDAY LIFE

A white harvest grows into the fabric of city life.
