DEVELOPMENT SNAPSHOT #30

Behind one weapon stand iron, copper, resin, timber, and tools. Follow the resource cards in Ashwind Chronicle and equipment becomes more than workshop output—it is a national project connecting mines, forests, and refineries.

Resource ID 400: Weapons, a stockpileable product completed from five inputs.

Trace the supply chain backward from the finished weapon

Weapons are resource ID 400. They require 0.15 timber, 0.55 iron, 0.2 copper, 0.05 resin, and 0.05 tools. Iron is the largest share, but iron alone cannot complete even one unit.

Building the backbone — Iron

Actual iron resource card

Iron is resource ID 169. It combines 1.0 iron ore with 0.15 insect oil and contributes 0.55 to every weapon, tying mines and fuel supply together.

Supporting the details — Copper

Actual copper resource card

Copper is resource ID 176. Made from 1.0 copper ore and 0.15 insect oil, it contributes 0.2 and brings a second mineral branch into production.

Actual resin resource card
Resource ID 180: Resin. Its share is small, but a missing input still halts production.

The smallest input can cause the biggest halt

Resin contributes only 0.05, but zero resin stops weapon production. Tools contribute the same 0.05. Strategy therefore means protecting minor inputs and processing capacity, not merely expanding iron output.

A finished weapon card is proof that several industries moved together. Long before equipment reaches the battlefield, its strategic story has already begun.
