DEVELOPMENT SNAPSHOT #08
A rocky mountainside, the rhythm of the tide, an orchard in warm light. All three produce resources, but every landscape begins its story differently. Today we visit three facilities that work with the land itself.
Searching for what the mountain keeps hidden
In the current facility data, a Mine requires mountain or hill terrain. The landscape is more than scenery: it helps decide what a region can produce. A lantern leads into the dark while ore catches the sunrise outside. Every first step carries both promise and danger.

A coastline becomes a doorway to the world
The Fishing Port is defined as a production facility that requires a coast. Small boats, nets, baskets, and people reading the waves fill the card. Securing a coastal region brings more than a new view—it opens a different way to produce.

Gentle land can carry a seasonal strategy
The Orchard has no mandatory terrain condition like the Mine or Fishing Port. Even so, rows of fruit and the harvest scene suggest time and season. We plan to keep exploring how placement, harvest timing, and transport can make this peaceful facility part of a larger decision.

Terrain requirements for the Mine and Fishing Port are already implemented. For the wider facility system, including the Orchard, the links among terrain, seasons, and transport remain under development and design consideration. Our goal is a map that immediately makes you wonder: what could this mountain yield, and how might this bay change a nation?
