DEVELOPMENT SNAPSHOT #09
Morning on a strategy map does not begin with marching boots alone. There are sheep bells, baskets being woven in the woods, and the creak of a wine press. Today we visit three production facilities that give national numbers the scent of a place.
What arrives from a misty pasture
The Ranch is a production facility in the current game data, with several resource outputs. Livestock graze beyond the fences as morning fog crosses the valley. One place can become a gateway not only to food, but to materials that continue into clothing and craft.

The forest is a treasury without labels
The Gathering Site is also a production facility with multiple resource outputs. Hanging herbs, nuts, jars, and woven baskets suggest a smaller economy—one that could feed local remedies, rare goods, and trade beyond mass production.

A harvest can capture time
The Winery turns grapes from a single harvest into something that gains value by waiting. It is currently defined as a production facility with one resource output. In the future, we want processing, time, and regional specialties to make that transformation feel even more meaningful.

All three already exist as production facilities in the game data. Deeper links involving seasons, processing time, and regional identity remain design and improvement ideas, not completed systems. Step by step, we are building a world where one glance at a province can make you imagine the work and table of the people living there.
