DEVELOPMENT SNAPSHOT #22
A fragment of ore leaves the mountain, passes through fire, and becomes a tool in a craftsperson's hand. Today, three actual resource cards—iron ore, iron, and tools—trace the moment a nation's industries begin to connect.
Potential sleeping underground — Iron Ore
Iron ore is registered as resource ID 5 and appears among the mine's possible outputs. Possibility without a finished shape enters the industrial flow here.

Fire transforms material — Iron

Iron is resource ID 169, configured among the workshop's possible outputs. Value once locked in stone becomes material ready for construction and manufacture.
Moving industry forward — Tools

Tools are resource ID 216 and another possible workshop output. A tool is a finished product, but also the power that makes the next act of production possible.

Reading a flow, not a single card
All three are actual assets assigned as IconPath values in the official resource data. Mines include iron ore among their outputs, while workshops include iron and tools. Placed together, the cards tell a story from extraction to processing and onward to the next production step.
If one link stops, every plan downstream begins to shake. Reading resources as a flow rather than a stockpile is one of the ideas at the heart of Ashwind Chronicle's statecraft.
